Eric Nunez
Eric Nunez is a designer and educator whose work focuses on game design. He has worked professionally in the game design industry as a producer developing mobile games for iOS and Android platforms, including games with movie or console tie-ins. He has also worked as a professor at Parsons The New School for Design, CUNY Hostos, and Marist College, where he has taught classes on game design, programming for designers, web design, and graphic design essentials. Nunez has consulted with the Prototyping, Evaluation, Teaching and Learning Lab (PETLab), a research group at Parsons The New School for Design that explores how games and play can support traditional learning experiences. As a member of this group he has developed game-based curriculum for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). He has also consulted with the Institute of Play (IOP), where he helped develop a teachers guide for Gamestar Mechanic and a summer-long curriculum for the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
