          Junior and senior studio art majors share semi-private studio spaces located in different sections of the school, depending on their concentration, to give them better access to relevant equipment.
          
         
        
          
          
          Painting Concentration studios are located on the upper floor of Walker Hall, providing abundant natural light.
          
         
        
          
          
          Sculpture Concentration students’ studios are located on the lower level of Walker Hall with ready access to the wood, metal, and ceramics shops.
          
         
        
          
          
          First and second year students in Communication Design work in Walker Hall’s network of open plan studios and classrooms.
          
         
        
          
          
          Studios for junior and senior students in Steinberg Hall are adjacent to several classrooms and critique areas with pin-up and presentation capabilities.
          
         
        
          
          
          Students in the Fashion Design department work together in shared studios. 
          
         
        
          
          
          In preparation for their capstone project, senior BFA in Fashion Design students receive private desk space in a studio environment to foster collaboration as they complete their collections.

        Studio Art
    As students advance into their junior and senior years, they receive more individualized studio spaces that are in close proximity to one another, fostering collaboration and focused work.
 
 
       
 
    
      
          
        
  
    
    
        Communication Design
    BFA and BA Design students share a large studio space on the upper floor of Steinberg Hall. The studio houses printers, Cintiq tablets, and various cutting and bookbinding equipment, as well as ample space for pin-up and group critique.
 
 
       
 
    
      
          
        
  
    
    
        Fashion Design
    Senior students pursuing a BFA in Fashion Design are assigned individual workspaces in a communal studio environment with space for personal equipment and storage, but allowing ready access to shared materials and workspace.
