Take a Fox Fridays Workshop

Fox Fridays is a weekly, no-stress workshop series where students from across campus can learn new tools, techniques, and processes.

Nov 22, 1 – 3:50pm • Bixby Printshop

Students will learn the print process of watercolor monoprint. We will be painting and drawing with water soluble media on to Artex film and then printing those images on to paper. Students will also explore different print methods such as layering and stenciling to augment and enrich the image making in this print technique. The results of this process fall some where between print and painting. It is very direct, requires no print skills and the results are amazing. Students will leave this work shop with several one of a kind printed images.

Instructor: Tom Reed. Born……Living……Could die at any moment.

Upcoming Events

Nov 21, 4 – 5pm • Weitman Gallery, Steinberg Hall

Join us for a reception for Light Rumination.

Exhibition Statement: My generation has compulsively recorded videos and photos since we began using smartphones, accumulating thousands of digital memories over the years. Light Rumination seeks to pull these memories from their isolated digital spaces, creating room for deeper reflection. It encourages us to question: What role do these videos and photos play in our lives? Why do we record? And how have these videos shaped our perception of the world around us?
