Ashley Xiang
Ashley Xiang is a human-centered designer passionate about creating experiences and products that are intuitive, inclusive, and evidence based. With an interdisciplinary background in interior design and product design, she brings unique perspectives to the table. She’s focused on exploring emerging technology and AI but also pointing out critical issues with bias and exclusion. Her work consistently centers on accessibility, community engagement, and access, driven by a keen interest in how people interact with technology and a desire to expand design’s power to connect them.
Ashley holds a BS in design and environmental analysis with a minor in information science from Cornell University. Prior to attending WashU, Ashley gained experience in building mobile applications, designing responsive web design, and crafting design systems in the gaming, finance, and marketing industries
