LA2028: RIVER RAIL TRAIL FIRE
This studio is inspired by a series of spatial and temporal overlappings in the city of Los Angeles – a progression toward globally visible infrastructural opportunism (the 2028 Olympics), a conduit representative of the epic battle of human intervention versus natural will (the LA River), and a moment in history when the challenges of climate change, wealth inequity, and social estrangement are intense and rising.
