Anis Rasheed

I am an artist and a writer who was born and brought up in Srinagar, Kashmir. My artistic practice spans different mediums including comics, illustration, animation and text. I have contributed to regional, national and international publications like ‘The Kashmir Walla,’ ‘The Caravan and ‘Norient.’ In 2016 and 2018, my work was selected to be part of the exhibition in ‘Kochi Biennale.’ I was also the recipient of the ‘Cultures of Resistance Award’ based in New York in 2021.
