My work reveals the hidden, unruly beauty of vulnerability as power. I use the body as form, subject, and site to challenge social convention and compel my audience to confront their own learned shame. The female body emerges prominently in my work, as both figure and ground: the focus of my exploration and the larger social context that informs it.
