Emiliano López Mónica Rivera Arquitectos project published in Casabella

This recent project in Arteaga, Spain, designed by Emiliano López Mónica Rivera Arquitectos–the firm of faculty members Emiliano López Matas and Mónica Rivera–was featured in the April issue of the Italian architectural magazine Casabella. “A Passive House” adapts to the gentle slope of the terrain, and large slabs of Markina limestone raise the entire structure off the ground to allow the soil and air under the house to pass intact.
